As the first of many brethren.
This is a ‘statement of fact’; not a command, of, or, an only way.
The Son is the only way, because he was the first of all of creation and from the Son all of creation came.
Yet the Father and the Son are One and the same and have always been, just as all of creation now is.
Before the Son, before all of creation, I AM
Thus the Son being the first, or beginning of creation, he is not only the way to the Father, but from the Father; whereby everything that is, or has its origin, or beginning in the Father, is from the Father, through the Son.
Again; fact, not a command!
So we could say …
I and the Father are One
I AM the Way, Truth and Life
The Father is the Way, the Truth and the Life
The Spirit is the Way, the Truth and the Life
The Son is the Way the Truth and the Life
The Father the Son and the Spirit are the Way the Truth and the Life
I and the Father, are the Way, the Truth and the Life
The Father and the Son are One
The Father the Son and the Spirit are One
The Father and the Son are interchangeable
The Father the Son and the Spirit are interchangeable
“If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father.”
“No one comes to the Father except through me.”
“For the Spirit draws him or her.”
No one comes to the Father, except the Father draw him to himself, through the Son.
*So why do we see all this separation occurring between the Father the Son the Spirit and all his/their children?
All One Spirit, One Flesh, One Being, One Energy, One Life!
